Liquid vs. pellets.  What is the better fertilizer?

With so many plant nutrients available, it is sometimes difficult to know which one to choose.

The organic liquid fertilizer is obtained from soluble fertilizers and are most often distributed through the irrigation system. The great advantage is that they do not come into contact with the substrate, which maintains its pH and salt concentration. The disadvantage is that the use is conditioned by the air temperature. At temperatures above 25 degrees, absorption is reduced. The wind also has a negative influence on the efficiency of liquid fertilizers, affecting their even distribution.

On the other hand, universal organic fertilizer comes in the form of pellets and has the role of stimulating plant growth and improving soil quality. Chicken manure pellets are the richest natural fertilizer, containing 4.5% nitrogen and 2.7% phosphorus which they distribute to the soil gradually, without increasing its concentration, as opposed to use of other types of fertilizers that are  quickly absorbed into the soil and cause an increase in nitrate content, which will slow down plant growth.

The way the organic fertilizer works results in improving the structure of compact soils and increasing the water retention capacity, thus mitigating the negative impact of drought.

Other advantages include the unlimited shelf life, no side effects due to the ecological and non-toxic nature and, last but not least, the absence of foul odor.
